DOD FX96 & FX90 Analog Delay

The DOD FX-90 and FX-96 analog delay pedals are truly gems of the FX series. These pedals have become very popular over the years for their great tone and they happen to use the MN3005 "bucket brigade" delay chip as found in the Boss DM-2 and the EHX Stereo Memory Man. These pedals have a similar design although the circuits are slightly different, but both are great candidates for rehousings and general modifications.

For a general upgrade we offer our overhaul modification. This upgrades general components such as important capacitors, the input op-amp, and calibrate the pedal using the trimpots when necessary. The Modulation Controls modification adds depth and rate controls to the delay function. This allows you to modulate your delay repeats for a variety of textures from subtle, haunting swirls to sickening vibrato. While we recommend this in addition to a rehousing the circuitry should fit in place of the battery compartment. Check out the demo video at the bottom of the page.

Other options include rehousings, effects loops, and more. Email for price quotes on larger projects.
